Q: Do I have to pay VAT for orders to EU?

Short answer: YES. VAT is collected at checkout, as required by the EU Commission to comply with e-commerce VAT obligations. Veekos uses the IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop) system to simplify and speed up customs clearance. We provide IOSS details to the carrier and report VAT to the European Commission monthly, ensuring a smoother delivery experience with fewer delays at customs. Important Note: In rare cases, if you choose express shipping (like FedEx or TNT), the carrier might overlook the IOSS and charge VAT again. If that happens, please email support.eu@veekos.com —we’ll either refund the VAT or pay it on your behalf. Customs Duties: Custom import taxes are not included in the checkout payment. However, they’re usually not charged with most shipping methods, unless you opt for express carriers like FedEx or TNT.
